I'm back from England and before I tell you about the rest of the holidays, here's my review of Monday, 6th April's performance of "Three Days of Rain" in London's Apollo Theatre.

The Play )

The Theatre )

The Production )

The Actors )

Fangirl Moments )

So bottom line: Everyone involved did an amazing job and I had the most enjoyable night. If I had the chance, I'd go to see it another time.

Hey everyone,

I'm back from my trip to London a.k.a. best birthday present ever. I still prefer the rural areas of England because I'm just not the type for huge crowds but as far as big cities go London is great. There's so much to see and to explore and there's just always too little time.

But we did manage to see quite a lot like parts of Notting Hill, The Tower, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Harrods, Madame Tussauds, Natural History Museum, the London Eye ...

[livejournal.com profile] elding and I even managed to meet up at the Tower. It was so great to finally meet you in person. *hugs*

And if you ever go to London you should totally take the Jack the Ripper Tour. It really does take you to places you wouldn't want to go alone at night. ;)

What I wouldn't do again is go at the Easter weekend. Some places are just crowded. We queued an esimated 3 (!) hours at Madame Tussauds.

All in all I had a great time. Pictures will follow as soon as I've sorted through all 300-something I took. :ugly:

I hope you all had a great weekend. *squishes flist*

I'm leaving for London tomorrow morning to relax, visit some of the most famous tourists attractions, try to disclose the secret of Jack the Ripper and hopefully meet up with [livejournal.com profile] elding. I'll be back on Tuesday.

Have a great easter / spring equinox everyone!

Wheeeeee!

And if you've read your way through all my Southern England entries you get your very own personal Dean. After all England has more than enough of them. ;)

Edit: FYI, the UK version of Supernatural Season 2 Part 2 has all the extras that are on the US version. Seems like they learnt their lesson from season 1. I don't know about the IMTOD commentary though. That one might be missing.

Hey everyone!
I'm back from Coventry. The con blues (and the england blues as well) set in full force this morning when I realised I had to go back to university which just didn't seem to make any sense at all. The episode doesn' really help. Watching it again last night was probably a mistake. spoiler )

Con report, pictures and episode review will follow asap.

Edit: There's no way I'll be able to catch up with my flist so if anything important happened that you want me to know please leave a comment to this entry.
