While I'm busy crocheting Castiel and Adam for two very kind and overall amazing people, you have another chance to do good and get a Supernatural character of your choice.

I will then randomly choose one winner out of everyone who has donated via my Crowdrise page by the 31st of March. The winner will get a character of their choice, especially made for them and shipped worldwide.

I know that sounds like a lot of rules. I just want to be sure that everyone knows exactly what's happening and what to expect. But basically, we're all here to help and do good, right? So don't worry too much, we'll figure it out.

Now, I'm currently considering fundraising ideas for my Hope To Haiti fundraiser page. One of these ideas is offering to crochet a character of your choice (not neccessarily SPN) to someone who donates to Hope To Haiti via my page.

Something else I can offer, is English-German translations and proof reading of German texts. If you need a English-German translation or want your German text checked for spelling or grammar mistake, or if you know someone who does, just contact me at gwaevalarin [at] freenet [dot] de.
Depending on the length and sort of text, I will tell you if (and how fast) I'll be able to fulfill your request. In that case, you'll get your translation or proof reading for free if you promise to donate to my Hope To Haiti fundraiser in return.

Random Acts have a new project: Hope to Haiti.

In June 2011, the Random Acts team, Misha Collins and Matt Cohen will go to Jacmel, Haiti, to build a community centre. And they are looking for people to join them.

What can you do?

You can spread the word. The Twitter hashtag is #Hope2Haiti

You can join the team and try to raise $5,000, and then maybe go to Haiti to help there. I'm sure it's going to be an amazing experience.

And last but definitely not least, you can donate. I'd appreciate if you use my Crowdrise fundraiser page to do so, but the important part is that you give what you can, preferably through the account of someone you believe should join Random Acts to Haiti.


Hint: It's my birthday this month, so in case you're looking for the prefect present, you know what to do. ;)

Next morning edit (because I don't want to spam you even more): I'm more or less awake again after about 4 hours of sleep. I completed my pledge (in Euros instead of USD). And just after I did that - I kid you not - the doorbell rang and it was Jehovah's Witnesses who wanted to read me a short section from the bible - I was tempted to ask them if they could make it something from Revelations since that's the fun part - and then started telling me how everyone only thinks of themselves nowadays and I literally burst out laughing. Nice timing. Thanks for making my morning. You guys have no freaking idea because you've obviously never met Misha freaking Collins.
I'm still sleep deprived and high from last night. Can you tell?

Today is the big day for Random Acts and Misha when he's going to run as far as he can for charity. And because that is such a great cause, there's a lot of support in this household.
