Pictures ahead
Day 4 - The Coast
Two things first:
1. Having been bored while waiting for our rented car (a Ford Fusion by the way) I can tell you now that One Tree Hill is probably the most confusing show ever. It has to share first place for the most boring show with Brothers&Sisters though.
2. Rye is too far away from Winchester for a day trip. Believe me. And I only had to read the map while
verena158 was doing the driving. Don't ask me how she did it.
It was a very nice day nontheless. Just a lot of driving and very exhausting. And it was clearly the warmest day of the week:

We drove alongside the coast and our first stop was near the Seven Sisters:

It was also a very Deanish day. We passed Eastdean and Westdean and Rottingdean and Saltdean (my favourite) and some more I can't recall now.
Some pictures I took from the car:

I can't tell you which city this is exactly. Brighton or Eastbourne or Hastings. They look pretty much alike to me with their sea front and hotels:

See the tree? That's how most trees in Southern England look that decided to grow by the street. It's from the double decker buses. We first noticed them on the Isle of Wight and thought it was pretty hilarious.

Finally at about 5.30p.m. we reached Rye. It's a nice little town that's totally worth a visit. It used to lie by the sea but for some reason doesn't any more.

Deep water, huh?

Where?

The way back on small road through the darkness is probably best described as adventure.
On to the fangirl day
