11 hours, 83 kilometers, $94,742. That's all I have to say right now.

Good night (and sorry for the spam)

Next morning edit (because I don't want to spam you even more): I'm more or less awake again after about 4 hours of sleep. I completed my pledge (in Euros instead of USD). And just after I did that - I kid you not - the doorbell rang and it was Jehovah's Witnesses who wanted to read me a short section from the bible - I was tempted to ask them if they could make it something from Revelations since that's the fun part - and then started telling me how everyone only thinks of themselves nowadays and I literally burst out laughing. Nice timing. Thanks for making my morning. You guys have no freaking idea because you've obviously never met Misha freaking Collins.
I'm still sleep deprived and high from last night. Can you tell?

Oh my, Jehova's Witnesses! We have some of them in my family (my paternal grandmother's sister and brother and their entire families), but I haven't seen any of them in 20 years. But I still remember quite vividly my grandfather's burial and the funeral feast afterwards. My dad had just lost his father, and I was a total mess - and all they could do was talking about Judgement Day and God's wrath. Thankyouverymuch. I felt so sorry for my second cousin. She was roughly my age (16), and it was obvious that she wasn't happy with her parents' religious beliefs. She wasn't allowed to do anything on her own, and I was disgusted how proud her father was of basically locking her up, keeping her 'innocent' and 'pure'. Yuck!

Anyway, your attitude towards them seems to be a very healthy one. Due to my personal experiences I have a hard time making fun of them, but it's the best thing to do, no matter for what reason.

And now get some sleep, woman! ;o)

I don't even want to imagine having them in my family. I grew up in a somewhat Catholic but overall very open-minded family and I am very glad about that.

Today was the first time in years that I came in contact with Jehova's Witnesses. And it was just really nice timing, telling me about how evil and selfish the world is just a few hours after a charity run initiated by a not exactly conservative actor of whom, I'm a hundred percent sure, they would not approve.

As far as I'm concerned, everyone is free to believe whatever they want but going from door to door to "talk" to random people about their religion and trying to convince them that they're doomed that's something that I find too ridiculous not to make fun of.
Even though, I have to say, I felt sorry for them too. Those two at my doors today were just kids. Probably legal, but they looked so young and I wonder if they ever had a choice.

And now get some sleep, woman! ;o)
Unfortunately I just cannot sleep during the day, no matter how tired I am. But I went for a walk, that helped a little.
