A matter of perspective
Dec. 22nd, 2006 02:27 pmBeing the Supernatural fangirl I am I'm constantly searching for information about urban legends, ghosts, demons, fallen angels in general and at the moment Azazel in particular. I'm blaming that one on the movie "Fallen". Does anyone know it? You should watch it. Anyway: What better place to look than in books about christian mythology. It's pretty hard to find something about Azazel even after I figured out that he's often spelled "Asasel". I think he's hiding from me. But I did find a book about the "birth" of demons in general. It's a little annoying because it's one of those "Catholism is rigth and everyone else is wrong and going to go to hell" books but it had the information I wanted so I can live with that.
And while reading it I came to the conclusions that there's not just shades of grey in the world but that also sometimes evil can be a matter of perspective. Because to me the whole story kinda sounded like that:
( Heaven's gates won't open up for me. With these broken wings I'm falling. )
