The most important thing first: I'm so glad Kovalainen is okay considering. It's such a terrible feeling when you're waiting and waiting for news on the driver not knowing how he is. But then finally we got the thumbs up from Kovalainen that always at least tells you that he's conscious and knows whats going on. I hope he's perfectly fit and ready to race again in two weeks.
That being said: Wohooo! Championship points for Jenson and Mark! A result like that is really all I'm asking for at the moment. I didn't even expect that much today. I don't care what everything says about Honda's new additional wing - I don't think it's that ugly - it seems to work and that's what counts. Even though I have to admit that luck probably played its part for Jenson today. But who cares. He finished, others didn't. He's 6th and gets the points. *g*
Mark's season is going pretty well so far. Finally after years of bad luck he might finally be able to show what he's capable of again.
Ant unfortunately was invincible again. This time almost literally. Suddenly his name didn't even show up any more until they finally gave us the information that he had retired from the race. Well, at least he was able to start the race in the first place. With Super Aguri's financial problems I'm not taking that for granted.
results:
1.Kimi Räikkönen
2. Felipe Massa
3. Lewis Hamilton
4. Robert Kubica
5. Mark Webber
6. Jenson Button
7. Kazuki Nakajima
8. Jarno Trulli
