Okay, what happened? Jenson had a good start and then suddenly he was gone. And of course RTL being RTL recognised it about 3 laps later, said that they didn't know what had happened and moved on.
Which meant I once again had to wait and bite my nails until I finally saw him still on track. Unfortunately his race still didn't last very long and he kicked himself out colliding with Coulthard. What's going on with Jenson lately? Last race the mistake in the last lap - that fortunately didn't cost him anything - and now that collision. He and Coulthard, they both can act more professional than that but I have to admit that it seemed to be mainly Jenson's fault. *sighs*
I hope we won't see anything like that again because Jenson usually doesn't make mistakes like that and he was clearly going for points today.
I once more didn't see much of Ant but at least he was on screen a few times. When Hamilton overtook him it looked a little like he mistook it for being overlapped. That's what the McLaren usually do with him, right. ;) But of course I do know that there's not much he can fight a McLaren with.
The really good news: He finished in front of Sato. That's great!
Mark pretty much saved the race. Points again. Yay! This season doesn't look to bad for him so far. It's nice to see him finish his races for a change.
Results:
1. Felipe Massa
2. Kimi Räikkönen
3. Robert Kubica
4. Nick Heidfeld
5. Heikki Kovalainen
6. Jarno Trulli
7. Mark Webber
8. Nico Rosberg
9. Timo Glock
10. Fernando Alonso
...
16. Anthony Davidson
Edit: One of Jenson's tyres was damaged. That's why he had to drive into the pits after just one lap.
