I'm back from another brilliant convention with great guests, both actors and fans.

I have about 600 photos to sort through but I'll try to upload them within the next week.
There will, of course, also be photo ops, and a report about the Misha coffee lounge on Saturday afternoon and possibly the Meet & Greet. I'm just not sure I remember much from the latter other then drinking Vodka with Misha.
If you have any preferences what you want to see first, let me know.

Misha was his usual self and in a really good mood most of the weekend. There was a lot of talk about the Castiel situation - more about that in the Coffee Lounge report - and I am very much under the impression that he is just as upset about it as we are.
There was fun and sarcasm as well, of course, though not quite as much as usual - and a ban on hypothetical questions.
And there was a very personal story during his Sunday panel where he decided to tell us how he proposed to Vicki and how it didn't go quite as expected. And even though it happened years ago, Misha got so emotional while telling the story that he had to turn away from us for a moment to fight back tears.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who had a strong urge to go to him and give him a hug.

Rob is just such a nice guy. During his coffee lounge (thanks again, [livejournal.com profile] seriesjunkie23) it wasn't really us asking questions. It was more sitting together, having coffee and talking about the show and the concert the night before and the other party that had been going on at the hotel that night.

I think Julian surprised everyone a little with how nice and charming and generally awesome he was. The best Halloween story I'll ever be able to tell is the one about being at a Louden Swain and Jason Manns concert where Death himself danced on and in front of the stage.

I'm afraid Mitch is the only one I didn't really find a connection to. He was still nice and fun, and I loved hearing him talk about his daughter. He even showed us a picture during the Meet & Greet, proud Daddy that he is.

I remembered Amy as rather shy and quiet from her first convention. That has changed completely. She is sweet and so pretty, and she told us that she really loves her role on the show and if she could revisit just one role it would be Mary. She also told us several times that she likes conventions fot two reasons: To meet the fans, and to meet other actors from the show she never had the chance to work with. She thinks that the conventions are just as exciting for her as they are for us.

Linsey loves Angelina Jolie. ;) She comes across as a pretty strong woman and - excuse me for being shallow for a moment - she is really hot. Unfortunately she only had triple panels, so we didn't really hear that much from her.

It was Katie's very first convention. She had no idea what to expect but she did great. She is and looks so different from Atropos, I hardly recognized her. You would always see her laugh or smile. She is also convinced that Castiel and Atropos have a history, and apparently she ships them pretty hard. ;)

Of course, a convention could never be the same without all the amazing fellow fangirls you meet there:
A big thank you to [livejournal.com profile] rinnus and [livejournal.com profile] seriesjunkie23 for an amazing weekend, and very fun and naughty breakfast.
@camuizuuki, @yadirafrances and @dertantesam, it was so great meeting you girls. The Saturday night concert was so much fun!
[livejournal.com profile] raths_kitten and [livejournal.com profile] ongiara, it seems I kinda lost you guys at some point. I hope you had just as much fun as we had.
[livejournal.com profile] absdax! Loved seeing you again. I'm sorry, we didn't really have the time to talk but it was fun just randomly running into each other all the time.
[livejournal.com profile] littlehollyleaf, it was so great to finally meet you in person. See you in Rome! SEBASTIAN!
[livejournal.com profile] takadainmate, it took us some time to find each other but we did succeed in the end. So good to see you again.
And to everyone else I met and talked to during the weekend: You were all so much fun to be around! You all are the reason I feel more comfortable at accepted at conventions than anywhere else, so I hope to see you all again at future conventions.

It was great to see you again, even if we didn't get long! I am very jealous of you for getting to see Sebastian in Rome...

There is never enough time at conventions to meet up with friends, is there? I'm glad we found a little bit of time to chat.
