gwaevalarin The Walking Dead was probably the new show I was looking forward to most this season.
The show is actually more serious than I expected it to be. It is a little like Survivors, only with zombies. And a lot more blood and gore. What more to ask for?
I didn't know Sarah Wayne Callies and Laurie Holden are on that show. That was a pleasant surprise
I liked the random (half) zombie lying around just going "arggg" and looking interested whenever someone walks by. But, honestly, you have to know that riding into the city during a zombie apocalypse is a really dumb idea. City -> a lot of people -> a lot of zombies. It's not rocket science, people.

All in all, it looks like we get a solid zombie apocalypse story with potentially interesting character interaction. I'm a little surprised we already learn that Rick's family is alive in the pilot. I hope we'll follow him and the little camp until they cross paths which I'm sure will happen at some point.

ZombiesWalkers don't talk - very handy to distinguish them from survivors. - They are attracted by light and react to sound.
- If you get bitten (or scratched) you burn up, die, and then come back.
- They walk around pretty aimlessly at night but you might also meet them during the day. No one seems too worried about them during the day, though. They're also of the rather slow variety and when they spot you they mainly walk towards you and give you a curious 'And how do you taste?' look.
- They know how to open doors.
- Killing works the usual way: Shot to the head. Bashing the head in works too, I suppose.
