Reply and I'll give you four fandoms. You then have to make an entry writing about your favorite character from each fandom, and why.
Here are the fandoms
ocelli gave me:
Fringe: Walter Bishop

He's a genius and yet he's entirely lost in everyday life. He has such a good heart and tries to bond with his son and make up for so many things he did in the past and regrets now when he realises what consequences they had.
The X-Files: Alex Krycek

I have a weak spot for bad guys who still make the right choice sometimes because they figure out - even if it's just for a moment - they actually have a conscience. Krycek is the character I discovered this weak spot with. He's one of those character that have more layers than you can see right away so you have to look a little closer to really appreciate them.
(Btw, Scully was a very close second.)
Leverage: Parker

She's just so unique and hilarious when she looks at everyone like they're really weird. I like how 'normal' people are a complete mystery to her and how she never even considers to try to fit in.
Dead Like Me: Mason

Yes, he's a bit of an idiot sometimes. But he has his sweet moments, he's adorable when he crushes on Daisy. And he's an idiot with a British accent and the looks of Callum Blue, so, yeah. *shallow*

Date: 2010-09-04 07:09 pm (UTC)@Mason: I never finished Dead Like Me, though I really don't know why because I liked it a lot. Anyway, Mason was my favourite, too, right from the start.
Would you mind giving me 4 fandoms?

Date: 2010-09-05 10:28 am (UTC)I agree that John Noble does a brilliant job with this character. There's such a fine line between making this character look real and vulnerable yet strong in his own way and making him look ridiculous and he never crosses the line to the latter.

Sure. :) I give you: Firefly, Wonderfalls, Gilmore Girls (Seasons 1-3) and Jane Austen.
With Jane Ausen I leave it up to you if you just want to chose one of her characters or a specific interpretation of one of her characters from an adaptation.
