Sherlock

I just finished Sherlock. I did mean to watch the finale last night but I got so tired halfway through and it's difficult enough to keep up with Sherlock's train of thoughts when I'm fully awake. I'm still kind of waiting for Sherlock to reveal that he is, in fact, the Doctor.
I just love the interaction between Sherlock and Watson. I might even like it better than their counterparts's from the 2009 movie. I'm still undecided on that.

"You, ripping my clothes off in a darkened swimming pool. People might talk."

Bwaahahaha! Oh, John!

Are we sure there isn't a fourth part to series 1? How can they just leave us hanging like that? I hate cliffhangers. Actually I don't, not really. But they're still mean. I guess it's safe to say now that there will be a series 2. Yay!
But to be honest, while I love pretty much everything else about this show, I find Moriarty terribly annoying. That might just be his voice, though. I'm not sure.
In case you're one of the roughly two people who haven't seen the show yet, go and change that.

omg thank you so much! I find Moriarty most annoying! I can deal with the changes they did to Mycroft but Moriarty is just awful. He's so stereotypically crazy. And his voice! GRRR That was my main complaint too.

let me just copy&paste this from my own journal:
Moriarty, for example. Why does he need to be your typical crazy genius. I do not want. Moriarty is Holmes gone wrong, not Holmes gone schizo and that kind of crazy. I also think it's too cliche for the show. They're so innovative in many ways, why do they need this stereotypical Bad Guy. I really couldn't enjoy the whole thing because I was so busy being angry and frustrated with the way they handled Moriarty. I mean, the way he talked was so fucking distracting :( I am disappoint:( I hope he will be more awesome next season. And maybe talk a bit more like a normal person. I really don't appreciate crazy high-pitched voices :I

I'm taking the whole sofa for myself. I'm tired.

I'm apprehensive about watching RDJ's Sherlock, because from what I saw from the BBC series and my prior knowledge, the movie remake seems to stray from the source material in a way... But I don't know, I've yet to watch it.

I like Moriarty because he is a lulz psycho. But his voice, yeah, it's okay to talk a little normally. My friend who loves the Sherlock franchise in general says he reminds her too much of the Master from Doctor Who, so she feels he's ripping off the character idk.

I posted the exact same thing in the GH. I just couldn't stop laughing. *g*

Aaaaand another thing we have in common - The first time I started to watch the finale I stopped the episode at about 40min because my eyes were slipping shut in shorter and shorter intervalls. And Benedict Cumberbatch soothing voice sure didn't help. *lol*

@Cliffhanger: It is kinda mean, isn't it? But at last it's official now that there will be a second season, so I can live with that.
