There is a German band named "Jenson"

When I heard that on Rock Antenne (a Bavarian radio station) yesterday it made me giggle but I didn't think the name had anything to do with one of the Jenso/ens I know.
Turns out it does. My mother just came to my room to tell me that she heard an interview with them and they actually named themselves after Jenson Button.
Doesn't make me like their music. One, it's German and two, not exactly my style. But it's still kinda cool that someone named their band after my formula 1 favourite. :)

The reason they chose his name is a little weird though. I didn't pay attention to the exact phrasing but it sounded like some bad guy formula 1 driver cliché and nothing at all like the optimistic nice guy with the most blinding smile ever I know Jense to be. But, hey, whatever. *shrugs*

I wonder if Jenson know about them.

One, it's German [...]

May I conclude from this statement that you don't like German music? Would you mind telling me why?
I have no idea why, but the moment someone starts to sing in German, it's over. I just can't listen to it, especially when it comes to my kind of music. It sounds all wrong. Weird, huh?

It's pretty much the same for me. The are some exceptions, even though I can't think of one right now, but usually German just sounds weird to me when sung. I guess it's because, unlike English or Spanish, German doesn't sound "melodious" enough for singing. The words just don't manage to flow with the music.
