Lower Frankonia

Having too much time on my hands I spent some of the first week of my holidays driving and walking around in Lower Frankonia and taking pictures of some of the beautiful spots you can find around here. I might continue doing so since there are some towns and places people drive hundreds of miles to see and I, having lived here all my life, have never been to.
The Schwanberg. It's one of my favourite places for walking. Especially in summer and autumn. In summer cause most of the area is covered by a forest and there's always a moderate breeze which means it never gets too hot up there and in autumn because the forest is all colourful and magical around that time of the year.

That's not exactly a tourist attraction but Ronja on our roof - where she's actually not allowed to go.

On Wednesday I went to Prichsenstadt, a small town in the district I live in. It has a beautiful historic centre all cobblestone and timbered houses. It looks a little like a tiny version of Rothenburg. I didn't take any pictures there since that'd have made me feel too much like a tourists but I took some pictures of the area around the historic centre.

And last but not least my hometown:

She loves sneaking out there once in a while when the window's open and I'm not looking. But I can't really be mad at her.

Bis auf die Weinberge. Die mag ich gar nicht. Und davon gibt es hier leider viele.
