gwaevalarin | Monaco 2007

My first formula 1 race in... 6 weeks. I missed Spain cause I was in Coventry/England at that time.

The race was fine. Well, it was Monaco and that has a special taste to it but thing is there really isn't much action on the track. We didn't see a single overtaking manoeuvre, did we?

Jenson: I think I haven't seen that much of Jensen all season. Good thing Kimi was right behind him for quite a while. 11th is an okay result. Looks like Honda may be improving a little. At least I hope that wasn't just because Monaco is such an atypical track. I was so happy at the Qualifying yesterday to finally see Jenson make in into the last part. Okay, that was a gift he received through Coulthards penalty. But he earned himself 11th place.
What I'm really worried about is the fact that lately Barichello tends to beat Jenson in the quali as well as the race. I can live with him finishing somewhere around 10th place but I wish it was in front of Rubens. *sighs*

Ant: He didn't seem to have his best race anyway but the penalty didn't help. I don't know when or where he ignored blue flags. It may have not been too bad considering how harsh they were with penalties this weekend. Just look at DC.

Alonso: What is there to say. He did an amazing job. There was no one today who could compete with McLaren the least. I mean, they lapped Fisichella who finished 4th. I'm also really glad Alonso could keep Hamilton behind him. It looked pretty close sometime during the race.
(And yes, I gave up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him. Still doesn't mean I like him. ;))
