gwaevalarin: (Doctor Who)

Name a TV show in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Buffy.
I own all seasons on DVD and I have rewatched the whole show at least once.

Name a (current) show you can't miss:
Supernatural.
I'm really glad the winter hiatus is finally over. Nevertheless I'm not too thrilled by the news that the show apparently got picked up for a 6th season. The plan was five seasons and I've seen too many shows that just went on for too long.

Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
John Simm.
He's a great actor and tends to get involved in projects that are well worth seeing.

Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
If I'm interested in a show I probably won't refrain from watching it just because of one actor. At least I can't imagine looking through a casting list and going "Oh, he/she is in it. Won't watch it then."

Name a show you can, and do, quote from.
I hardly ever quote from shows, mainly because I can never think of the right quote at the right time. But if I quote from a show it will most likely be Doctor Who or maybe Supernatural.

Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Flash Forward.
I don't know why people don't like it. It's not genius but I still think the concept is interesting and it's entertaining.

Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Erm, none that I can think of, really.

Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
Life on Mars. The UK version of course.
It's just such a great show and I think there's something in it for everyone.

Name a TV series you own:
One? I own so many, so I'll just randomly pick one of which I have all seasons and that I haven't mentioned yet: Charmed.

What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
That's a question impossible to answer, because I'd have to choose a favourite show and then choose one single episode of that show? Seriously?
So I guess I'll cheat and say: "Torchwood - Children of Earth". I know, that's a whole season, not an episode but it is one story and it was just exceptional.

A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Survivors.
The season 1 box is standing next to my tv. But I haven't found the time to watch it yet.

Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Sometimes I just slowly lose interest and suddenly realise that I haven't watched an episode in ages and then just leave it at that. The only show where I consciously decided to stop watching was Heroes.

Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
Friday Night Lights.
I know everyone says it's great but it just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
Doctor Who.
That show is going to be the death of me one day.

Oldest TV show you like?
Unless you count Doctor Who - but I've only seen one storyline of Classic Who - I'm afraid I can't really go back much futher than The X-Files. That's when I really started to watch tv-shows and I'm so busy with current shows that I never went back to discover old ones.

Newest TV show you like?
Flash Forward, probably. I can't think of anything that started even later. Well, aside from Paradox but I have only seen one episode of that one so I can't really tell if I like it yet.

What do you eat when you watch TV?
Snacks, chocolate, pomegranate, sometimes even dinner.

How often do you watch TV?
Tv as in the current tv programme? Hardly ever.
Tv as in DVDs etc.? Pretty much daily.

Do you have a favourite talk show?
No, I don't watch talk shows.

What's the last TV show you watched?
The newest episode of Leverage.

What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
Everything in the realm of mystery/supernatural

What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Crime shows and comedy. I don't mind funny tv shows but I'm not a fan of pure comedy.

What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
That was either The X-Files or Sailor Moon. I'm not exactly sure which one came first.

What TV show do you wish you never watched?
Had I never watched The X-Files I probably never would have gotten so obsessed with tv shows and would now have a lot more time for other things. But would I really want that? No, of course not.

What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Pushing Daisies.
The show was great but the style was pretty weird, wasn't it?

What TV show scared you the most?
Afterlife.
It's the subtlety that makes this show so scary. And if I find the time I'm planning to write a review about it.

What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
As I'm not a big fan of comedy I can't think of a show that I watched/liked and would describe as a funny show. Doctor Who has tons of funny moments. And the last epsiode of a tv-show that had me on the floor with laughter was Supernatural's "Changing Channels".

Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
I don't think there is one best tv show ever made. There are so many great shows out there, each in its very own way.
But if I really had to choose I'd go with Doctor Who because it's just so unique and manages to captivate whole generations.
