dimturien had hinted a while ago that something bad would happen in the last episode. I can't blame her for spoiling me though. I asked.
Anyway, I still managed to stay away from spoilers until a few days ago when the season 3 casting spoiler popped up on my flist. I didn't manage not read it simply because I was so scared that something'd happen to Connor or Abby. I didn't want to face that unprepared. And when I read that it was Stephen who dies in the season finally I have to admit - and yes, I do feel a bad about it - that I was a little relieved. Not because I wanteds Stephen gone or anything even though he never was my favourite character and I can't say I liked him in season 2. But it meant that the characters I cared about would be fine.
And in the end Stephen got his hero's death and I was able to say goodbye without holding a grudge against him. Who else just wanted to hug Nick and hold him tight when he broke down? :(
What else is there to say about this season?
I love the dynamic between Nick and Connor that started to build from the moment when Connor was the only one to believe Nick his story about Claudia Brown. I miss her, by the way. Jenny seemingly turns a little bit more into her every episode but I'm still sad that the PTB have no intention of bringing Claudia back so far.
My favourite episode is clearly episode 4. Connor's reaction when he thinks Abby is dead. It was just heartbreaking. His rescueing her and admitting his feelings. &hearts I still could slap him for going on his date with Caroline and leaving Abby alone. Arg! Connor! How stupid can you be?
Speaking of Caroline: She won't be back, right? Just because she realised in the end how greedy and stupid and mean she had been doesn't mean I like her now. At all. So can she just stay away, please? Especially from Rex.
Wasn't it amazing how Rex saved them by showing them the way out? Good lizard! *pets him*
Did anyone else notice that Abby almost took Connor's hand when they walked away from the funeral? And that Connor had a gun in the last scene? *g*
Can it be season 3 now please?
