Saturday morning, breakfast: One cat is sitting at the kitchen window and one is lying on the heater. Perfect postcard pictures. Till Ronja leaves her window running back and forth from the window to the conservatory door, back to the window, out the conservatory door, back in... because there's obviously something really interesting outside she has to observe from every possible angle. And then she decides that she's a little cold and jumps on the heater. We remember... right, that spot is already taken. So there's hissing and a little chaos and one second later a slightly confused black cat is sitting under my chair not really sure what just happend and why no one told her that there was someone else lying on her heater.
On the heater Elanor gets up equally confused sits down in a back corner and suspiciously watches her surroundings ears constantly turning to make sure that no one else decides to first startle her and then hiss at her though she didn't do a thing.
I guess we should put signs saying "free" and "taken" respectively at every spot in the house they both like.

Btw. we found out yesterday that my cat's real name is "Weihnachten" (christmas).

My father went outside to get the mail and there was a letter saying "Christmas is at your door". That was the moment when ~~Ronja~~ Christmas rushed through the door into the house.

Living with cats really never gets boring.
