Summer Shows

It's always weird when May comes and goes and my ridiculously long tv schedule is suddenly mostly empty. But there are still a few shows on my list that are currently taking up the task of getting me through the summer:
Teen Wolf: I blame this one on tumblr. I'm still catching up, but I'm enjoying it so far. It's an MTV high school-werewolf-drama, so it's not the smartest show you will find, but it's entertaining, the characters are fun, and the show doesn't take itself too seriously while not being too silly either. It's actually perfect for a little bit of entertainment at the end of a long, warm summer's day.
Saving Hope: I don't do hospital shows - with E.R. being the one exceptions - but I started watching this one because it has Daniel Gillies. The show turned out pretty much what I expect the average hospital show to be like, with one exception: One of the main characters is in a coma. They could make more of that, but it did lead to one or two quite funny scenes. It also led to one scene that I thought was problematic as fuck ("Coma arousal therapy"? Exactly what it sounds like, yet no one seemed to be worried about any consent issues. Okay...). I still watch it for Daniel's character because I can be shallow like this.
Continuum: Best summer show so far. The main idea is that a group of terrorists escape from the future to our time and take a detective with them. She now tries to stop them before they change the future too much, while looking for a way back to her family. What makes it even more interesting is that the terrorists' ideas and goals may not be all bad - their methods definitely are, though. The best thing about Continuum is that it has a strong, kick-ass female lead, who can also be a little awkward because 2012 isn't 2077, and because not everyone has a teenage genius talking to them in their head.
