cassiopeia7 gave me a 'B'.
Balthazar (Supernatural): Where do I even start? It makes me sad when people say they love Balthazar, but then only talk about his ménage à twelve and his sense of humour but completely miss/ignore what lies underneath. I love his snark too, but there is so much more to this brilliant, loyal, broken angel. There is so much love and so much pain, making him such an interesting and complex character. Like Sebastian put it: "He is a decadent angel with a heart of gold", and I still miss him so, so much.
Buffy Summers (Buffy): I never really liked Buffy all that much. I'm sure she was brave and all, but I could never quite bring myself to care. My problem with a lot of main characters is that it their shows try to convince me that they are somehow more important than everyone else, and I don't understand what makes them so damn important aside from being the main character. So I usually find myself gravitate towards the secondary and minor characters who hang around in the background even though I feel they are so much more interesting and deserve as least as much love.
Bela Talbot (Supernatural): I will never understand why so many people hate Bela. No, she is not the most selfless person, but she never claims to be. And really, can you blame her? She comes from an abusive home until a demon gave her the chance to make it all stop. She was a child when he made that deal, a frightened little girl. And then she had ten years and literally no one who cared about her. What reason did she have to show kindness to anyone but herself? So she became cold while, on the inside, she very much stayed the scared child. But no one saw.
Brienne of Tarth (A Song Of Ice And Fire): Brienne is generally considered a freak, she's awkward, and she has been called ugly to her face. She also wants nothing more than be a knight which makes her even more of a laughing stock. But while that treatment does visible hurt her, it doesn't keep her from holding her head high and to continuing on ther own path. Everyone who actually gives her a chance, quickly finds out that she is brave, and loyal, and while she can be naive she is certainly not stupid. A true hero, right there, where hardly anyone expects or sees.
Bonnie Bennett (The Vampire Diaries): Confession: I find Bonnie annoying. I can't even really figure out why but everytime she turns up on the show, I find myself wishing she would just go and do whatever it is she does somewhere else.
