You know, to be honest, this is pretty much what I expected. Then I remembered that Ben Edlund had written the episode, and that scene that seemed to be Castiel but turned out to be very weakened Leviathan instead, and I kinda expected more (concerning Castiel). But maybe they just didn't let him, and he therefore decided to have fun with Lucifer instead.
I might write a little about that later. Or maybe not. I don't know yet.

Point of fact is, I don't believe for a second that this is it. No body, still no sign of angel grace, and Dean conveniently has the trench coat to give to Cas when he comes back.
And there is the mysterious "boss" who, as many people pointed out, is probably still using Jimmy as a vessel with Cas trapped inside.

This is not the end, and I'm just going to sit here, as patiently as I can, and wait for my angel to return. And I will not stop doing that until not only the season, but the entire show is over. I just sincerly hope that it won't take that long.

YES! I feel the same way. I'm in a huge denial mode. I'm more worried about Bobby for now, tbh, b/c I just refuse to believe Cas is dead! And the boss is definitely Cas's vessel.
But Edlund ttly rocks. It was so heartwarming when Bobby called Cas Dean's only best friend. XD

Honestly, I don't remember very much from the rest of the episode, other than Lucifer being awesome.
I also may stop watching the show until we know for sure when Castiel will be back, and catch up then. Not because I don't like it any more - I'm actually sure that it was a pretty good episode - but because I'm afraid I won't be able to watch it properly, the way it deserves to be watched, while I'm so busy worrying about my angel and waiting for his return.
I honestly don't know yet.

Oh, that'd be a shame. I love your reaction posts! But I understand: I'm feeling kind of numb about Cas for now b/c I'm in this huge DENIAL mode, but if it's not fixed, I know I'll be furious and uber-sad.
Lucifer definitely WAS awesome and as much as I love Sam, I hope Luci's not going anywhere))))

Hey, I won't stop watching forever, maybe not even at all, it just may be delayed reaction posts as soon as we know that Castiel will... not necessarily be okay but back.

This episode for example? I would love to write a reaction post about the entire Lucifer storyline. But I just can't right now. It would feel like moving on from Cas, and I simply can't do that.

I'm writing my own reaction post right now, because I just need some distraction. When Dean held Cas's coat, I had tears in my eyes. If I focus too hard on it, I'll probably break down and won't be able to hide behind my DENIAL shield. T_T

It's exactly the other way round for me, if I review the episode, I'm afraid it is really going to hit me that Castiel isn't in it, and then I'll probably break down.
I think the only distraction that is going to work for me is concentrating on other shows. Like Doctor Who, because that's going to be so much fun and not painful at all this weekend... FML.
