What is the Nature of Your Sin.

It's such a weird feeling that the day is finally here. That I just watched the first episode of Divine: The Series. It is everything I have hoped for and more.
Divine: The Series, what can I say... it's dark, and bloody, and blasphemous in the very best of ways. They are not afraid to go deep into religious (Christian) symbolism.
What I love most about it, is that - even with only a 12 minute long first episode - this show is not afraid to take its time, to build up the atmosphere, to show the details, and to just let you fall into this dark, pretty hopeless world.
Every single character - and Caesar in particular - is completely fucked up from what I can say so far, making them absolutely fascinating.
The cinematography is gorgeous. How are they even doing that on their budget? I'm absolutely blown away.
And while Father Christopher is only a minor character, we do experience the first episode through his eyes. He is the one who doesn't really know what's going on. He is the one who is thrown into this with us. Which is a great move with most of us coming from the Supernatural fandom, and therefore having found Divine through Misha (and Ivan). So it's great that the one actor we already know and love leads us into this show, so that the others can then take over from him.
And, excuse me for being shallow for a moment here, but Misha in a priest outfit, and all adorably confused, and mumbling prayers and speaking with almost his gruff Castiel voice (but not quite).... erm, wow!
Congratulations and a big Thank You to Ivan and his entire team, cast and crew, for making this project happen. If there was any doubt left - not that there really was - I'm definitely hooked. Loyal Divinite right here.
It's also an awesome feeling to see my name turn up on the Thank You page. Really, really makes me feel part of this project, and I'm so proud that I could help, even if it was just a little.
