gwaevalarin: (Doctor Who)

The day after "Much Ado About Nothing" we took the Tube all the way to Kensington Olympia to see the Doctor Who Experience.

In case you may want to go and see it for yourself, I don't want to give away too much, but it is definitely worth seeing. At least if you like Eleven, as particularly the first part is mainly about/with him.

The Experience consists of two parts. The first part takes you into a 30 minute episode, where you have to save the Doctor who got himself stuck in the Pandorica. Again. You meet the Daleks and the Weeping Angels, you fly in the TARDIS, and generally get to be brilliant.

The second part is an exhibition, with lots of constumes, and monsters, and props. One of the exhibits is Ten's TARDIS from his final scene, and the really mean thing about it is that they have Ten's "death" scene playing on a screen next to it over and over again. Way to be cruel.

The shop at the exit, of course, is evil.

Naturally, I took some pictures:

Great pics! Sounds really awesome. I would be half tempted to touch Ten's coat. And you got to see the inside of Ten's TARDIS. I would be gobbsmacked, geeky Whovian that I am. Glad you had a great time.
