So, Paley Festival...

A few thoughts on all things Paley Festival, just based on articles and Twitter, as I haven't seen any videos yet:
I might do a Misha at Paley Festival post like I did for Comic Con last year. Anyone interested?
- At least two unexpected(!) deaths in the season finale? Please tell me it's not Cas. They can't kill him, right? Bobby neither. Why do I always have to worry again at the end of the season?
Then again, this is Supernatural, so "unexpected death" might just be teasing us and not mean final. Not that this kind of death is unexpected at all any more.
If they take Cas and Bal away from me... I don't even want to think about that.
Hm, then with Lisa and Ben apparently coming back - do not want! - maybe they will be the two unexpected deaths. Which would be really cruel. I mean, I don't like them - or rather I don't like how the show has handled this storyline - but killing them off, which pretty much means Dean getting them killed, not gonna be fun.
The only other somewhat "unexpected" ones I can think of are Meg, Crowley (mainly because right now we are not even supposed to expect him to be alive in the first place) and maybe Raphael.
Eve is expected. Rachel will probably be expected. So is Balthazar, unfortunately. :( How about an unexpected staying alive here, show? - Cliffhanger ending? Really? Damn! Now I do want a season 7. We can't have it all end without any ending at all.
- Ben Edlund is (writing and?) directing a Castiel-centric episode, told from Catiel's point of view. With flashbacks (can those have Balthazar and their friendship before the war, please?) OMG! Perfection!
- Kripke writing the finale gives me some hope, too.
- So we will get closure on some of the storylines then: Purgatory, Eve, Sam's Wall and the war in Heaven. Since they are working with a season 7 in mind, I kinda wish they'd give the war in Heaven a little more time. There is so much potential there, it seems a waste to wrap it up so quickly. But I guess I can be glad that they do plan to give it some attention and wrap it up at all, so I won't complain.
