I don't know if I even have anyone from the winning team on my flist, but I just wanted to say:

Congratulations, Rhino Team 3!

Enjoy your cup of tea (or your money, but seriously, is anyone going to choose that option?).
I can't wait to see some of the submissions online. And even less for SHEASH*, because it's going to be epic! And it's going to be the "first annual", I like the sound of that. *g*

Aw, it's hard to believe that the Rhino Hunt is officially over. It was so much fun.

*ask Misha ;)

I haven't seen anything. What was the payoff, a cup of tea? LOL

The prize is either $53.21 in Canadian cash or a cup of tea with Misha anytime, anywhere within the next 7 years.

Heh. Yeah, who on earth is gonna pick the money huh?

Do we know how the points were awarded in the end?

I'd love to know, but Misha didn't write anything about that. He did, however, say that he'll post some of the submissions online. Maybe we'll learn more when he does that.

Cool :D

Also... I got a bit lost with the 'rules', not being on a team. Wasn't it decided that a single person would be the winner and not a team, hence why people on some teams started fighting over certain items on the hunt in order to avoid duplicates? Did he change the rules again? :p

No, he didn't change the rules. At least not to my knowledge.

Basically, there were (in theory) 61 team members per team but only 22 challenges. Every challenge could only be submitted once, and you only count as part of the winning team if you actully submitted one of the challenges.
Ergo, only 22 of the 61 team members had a chance of winning. And that's what people in some teams apparently were fighting over.
I have no idea how it ended in Team 3, but according to the rules there should be 22 (or less) winners from Team 3 now.

Aaah, I see!

Guess we'll have to wait and see what he decided about that then :p
