Well... Dean sort of has an excuse? Cas is keeping a lot of stuff from him. And Dean is more preoccupied with Sam than anything... Which is understandable, given the circumstances.

Honestly, for me Dean has run out of excuses a while ago. He just keeps asking and asking without ever giving back. But that's just my opinion, and I'm aware that I'm very, very protective of my nerdy angel.
