Oh my, Jehova's Witnesses! We have some of them in my family (my paternal grandmother's sister and brother and their entire families), but I haven't seen any of them in 20 years. But I still remember quite vividly my grandfather's burial and the funeral feast afterwards. My dad had just lost his father, and I was a total mess - and all they could do was talking about Judgement Day and God's wrath. Thankyouverymuch. I felt so sorry for my second cousin. She was roughly my age (16), and it was obvious that she wasn't happy with her parents' religious beliefs. She wasn't allowed to do anything on her own, and I was disgusted how proud her father was of basically locking her up, keeping her 'innocent' and 'pure'. Yuck!
Anyway, your attitude towards them seems to be a very healthy one. Due to my personal experiences I have a hard time making fun of them, but it's the best thing to do, no matter for what reason.
