"I'm my own worst nightmare"

First of all: I love dream episodes. "Restless" is one of my favourite Buffy episodes. And now I have a Supernatural dream episode. How much better can it get?
Yay, Bobby. It's always great to have him in an episode. And now we know how he became a hunter. Poor guy. And I love that Dean is his emergency contact. Seeing him in that hospital bed made me giggle though. I couldn't help thinking about a certain panel and the "Bobby in a hospital bed" story that was told there. *looks at Jared*
Drunk!Sam looks so miserable. He's given up because he knows as long as Dean doesn't want to be saved Sam can't save him no matter how hard he tries. But he can't bear to just sit there and watch his brother die either.
Bela. *draws hearts* And they called her. Hehe. Of course she didn't just come by because she felt like being nice.
Who'd have thought Sam has fantasies about Bela. Not that I can blame him. Can I visit Sam's dreams more often, please?
His face when part of his dream repeats in reality is priceless. To say nothing of his happy face when he wakes up. Or how he looks down at his crotch. "Just give me a sec." *giggles*
Inside Bobby's head: The upside down rain. Totally nightmare material. The fading colours create an amazing atmosphere. And it makes the bright picket fence garden Sam walks into... out to really creepy.
"I'm not gonna let you die. You're like a father to me."
Awwwww!
Note to self: Don't let Dean have too much coffee.
Inside Dean's head: I can't believe they didn't get that they're already in the dream, again.
For some reason the scene with Lisa doesn't completely work for me. Of course it totally makes sense. It's just... it's not Lisa he really cares about, is it? It's Ben. So I guess I feel he should turn up in Dean's "I actually do want a normal life and a family" dream sequence.
Of course Metallicar is staying in Dean's dream. She's not going anywhere without him.
And Dean meets himself. It's amazing how you can always see which Dean the camera is on. Knowing the last scene now, Dean snapping his fingers to make dream!Dean vanish is creepy.
Does Dean really hate his Dad that much? John surely made some mistakes but I know that he loved both of his sons. Dean always knew that. But since John died it's like Dean forgets that side of his Dad more and more. I didn't like how Dean never questioned anything John said, but what exactly made him turn around 180 degrees?
"My father was an obsessed bastard. He's the one who couldn't protect his family. He's the one who let Mom die."
Is he angry at John for leaving him? Is he just angry at himself and projects that onto his father? Who is he really talking about? Sometimes I think he blurs the boundaries between himself and John.
Dean shooting himself made me flinch. I don't really know what to read into it but I don't like it.
(Edit: This paragraph is me not being able to put my thoughts into words.)
Does that picture remind you of something? Christian mythology wise. Especially considering that Sam is supposed to be the anti-christ?

I didn't think about Sam's psychic powers until Bobby brought them up but I thought that it was weird that Sam could bring Jeremy's Dad into Deans dream. So maybe Sam did tap into his powers without realising it.
The last scene totally creeps me out. Evil!Sam always still is Sam in some way. When I picture him giving in to his dark side there's always something sad in the mix. More like a fallen angel. I can't picture him without at least a sparkle of humanity left in him.
But demon!Dean in that scene... that's just pure evil. There's nothing human left. There's nothing left of Dean. That smirk alone makes me feel like the temperature in my room just dropped below 0°C

"You can't escape me Dean. You're gonna die. And this, this is what you're gonna become."
Sam, go and save your brother now that he wants to be saved. Please!
