I had a good feeling about Bela from the moment I saw the promo pics but... Gosh! I know she's a selfish bitch and can't really give any rational, deep character study explanation why, but she totally kicks ass. And she's hot! *needs a cold shower*
And yes, I know she shot Sammy. I tried to hate her for that. I really did. And it should be easy. ... But I failed miserably.

Previously on Prison Break. Oh wait, wrong show. It looks too friendly for Sona anyway.
Oh, Gordon. Haven't seen you in a while. So he is still in prison. That's good. But he has hunter friends out there who visit him. That's bad.
Godon's hunter friend, Kubric, gives him a quick update on the devil's gate and the demons and even about a guy who knows a guy who's father's friend's wife's barber's cousin twice removed knows Bobby. Yeah, I wouldn't believe a story like that either but Gordon still needs a serious update on things. Has no one told him that according to Ruby Sam is the anti-christ.
On second thought that probably wouldn't really change his opinion much.

"Sam Winchester must die."

*raises hand* I strongly disapprove!

Ah, so Sam told Dean that Ruby's a demon. And the fact that she told Sam she can help him doesn't really convince Dean. Naturally. Hunting 101: Demon's lie.

"She knows your weakness. It's me."
That's so very true. Just like Sam is Dean's weakness. But it's not like Sam doesn't know that.

"Look, I'm not an idiot, Dean. I'm not talking about trusting her. I'm talking about using her."
It sounds kind of reasonable but still not totally convincing. And guys, would you stop shouting? But well, at least they're talking to each other.

Dad's mobile rings. Turns out John had a container at a storage place someone broke into. I have a vague idea...

Meanwhile Kubric and some other hunter prepare for their Sam hunt.

"Don't play with my Jesus."
I can't decide if it's hilarious or creepy.

Devil's Trap, trip wire. John sure knew how to keep his treasures safe. Like Sam's soccer trophy John probably had wished was a bowhunter trophy. I think it's cute that Sam really played soccer. And Dean's first homemade sawed-off. Oh, and some curse boxes of which one's missing.

And which is now in the hands of two thieves who have no idea what it is. And who think opening it sounds like a good idea. I wouldn't do that. I really, really think that's a bad... Oh, a rabbit foot. Okay, that could have been worse. Or knowing my show: Probably not. *looks at the rabbit foot suspiciously*
They get a visitor who complains about the noise and just happens to be an army medic. Lucky thief. Playing Poker seems to be fun with a rabbit foot as well. But I'm sure there's a catch.
But for now when Sam and Dean turn up their guns are not really helping them.

That next scene is downright hilarious and impossible to describe. *giggles madly*

When Sam manages to grab the rabbit foot the luck turns. Just in time when he has a gun pointed at his chest. Dean's gun we all now is carefully looked after and cleaned. And doesn't work.
So it's Sam's lucky day and Dean knows how to take advantage of that: scratch tickets. Sam things the rabbit foot is cursed somehow. I think he's right and the former lucky thief proves it by accidently killing himself with a big fork.
Sammy, do me a favour, would you? Hold onto that rabbit foot very, very tight.
Bobby knows the catch and he built the curse boxes.
I love how Dean silently mouths "awesome" when Sam shows him the golden watch and sums up Sam's their freshly won money.

They grab something to eat. For free since Sam's the one millionth guests.

That picture'll do great in a local newspaper or the internet considering that the FBI is still looking for our boys. Just like some hunter friends of Gordon's.
Dean looks like he's getting a vision after too much ice cream and my first thought when I saw the "waitress" was that she's cute - Except for the horrible wig. The colour suits her though. - Seems like I'm not the only one:

And there Sam's luck goes together with Bela.
I'm worried about Sammy but at the same time: Thiiii! Cute!
Especially back at the thief's place when Sam carefully stays in the background but then trips, takes a stereo and a lamp with him and Dean doesn't even turn around.

Dean talks to Bobby. He knows how to break the curse. But they'll need the rabbit foot back for that. Which means they have to find Bela first who Bobby knows as well and who's about as creative with her aliases as our boys. Lugosi. *smirks*
Meanwhile Sam tries to get rid of a chewing gum and does get rid of his shoe in the process.

Awwww! Puppy dog schoolboy Sammy. So adorable! *ruffels his hair*

And an annoyed big brother

Dean drops Sam off in a Motel. And he addresses him as "my brother" &hearts
Are you insane, Dean? Leaving Sam alone with his bad luck? I can think of a thousand things that can happen to him while he's just sitting there doing nothing. Some of them fatal. A burning air conditioner for example.
And by the way: Tilting is not a good idea right now, Sammy. Trying to put out the fire is even though of course it goes wrong. Like Gordon's friends just happening to stand in front of the window when Sam accidentaly pulls down the curtains while trying to put out the fire on his arm.

Dean drives to Queens to pay Bela a visit. Can I have that apartment?
Squeeeeee! Kitty! &hearts

Smart kitty who doesn't like the rabbit foot. &hearts even more.
Just as smart as her mum. But Dean outsmarts them both and soon they point guns at each other. Just Dean and Bela that is, not the cat.

They have a small discussion about morals with Bela being a thief, sorry: "procuring uniques items for a select clientele." and all hunter's being revenge driven.
"Trying to save a world that can't be saved."
"Oh, aren't you a glass half full."
"We're all going to hell, Dean. Might as well enjoy the ride."
"I actually agree with you there."

That's great. Could we go back to Sam being in mortal danger and the rabbit foot, please? Thank you, Dean.
And Bela: I like you but shooting at Dean is NOT acceptable. Even if you can't hit him while he has the rabbit foot.
Speaking of same: Are you insane, Dean? (Yes, I do realize I'm asking this for the second time this episode) Touching the thing?

Back in the motel: Kubric and his fellow hunter tie Sam up and now I'm really starting to worry about him. Sam rather seems annoyed though when he hears Gordon's name.
At least until they beat him up. Hey!

Leave him alone! Just go away so I can lick his wounds untie him.
Kubric maunders something about destiny and god leading him. Did someone else have a "Houses of the Holy" flashback? Where Sam was kind of on the same trip?

Dean turns up just in time to save his little brother once again. Did anyone nortice how in the background Sam's still sweating and anxiously looking forth and back between Dean and the gun? The episode has a very comedic tone but that doesn't mean Sam doesn't realise how close this was.

Dean on the other hand is totally relaxed. He knows he's pretty much invulnerable as long as he has the rabbit foot.

"I'm batman!"

Oh, Dean. *shakes head*

I think Sam shoukd be fine now, too? I mean, with Dean having luck how can Sam get hurt? Somehow Dean's good luck and Sam's bad luck should a least cancel each other out, right?

So now they can burn the rabbit foot and break the course. As soon as Dean's finished with his scratch tickets.
Not quite: Bela likes to have a saying in that and shoots Sam! BELA! When I say shooting Dean is not acceptable then shooting Sam is even less acceptable. I don't care if it's "just" a shoulder hit. No one shoots my boys. Are we clear?

So what is Dean supposed to do? Give her the rabbits foot and curse himself and Sam? Not an option. Let her shoot Sam again? Even less an option.
Throwing the rabbit foot at her so she instinctively catches it? Brilliant idea. *g*
Can we salt'n burn the damn thing now?

And so they part. The boys got rid of their bad luck and Bela still has to get rid of her powerful, psychotic buyer. But I think she can manage. And at least she got some money out of it thanks to Dean's scratch tickets.

Kubric tells Gordon that Sam is the adversary and he himself is acting god's will. What is it with everyone thinking Sam's the anti-christ alive and in the flesh lately? Look at him. If that's evil in his purest form then, wow, is the world a peaceful place. Wait a second. It isn't. I think something's wrong with this equation.

I love Gordon's "And people say I am crazy." expression. But it'll work for him whatever reason Kubric has to hunt Sam. And now he wants to go all Prison Break. Great. Just great.

Funny trvia: Did you know that Lasuren Cohan (Bela) graduated from Winchester University. ;)
...
Winchester. Hampshire. Southern England. *wants to go back*
