Canada 2007

Most important: I'm so glad Kubica is fine considering. That accident was really bad and when after endless minutes the first information came through that he was "stable" that sounded like a euphemism. Later they said he was responsive which sounded much better and when they started talking about his broken ankle and that they're not even sure if it's really broken I was relieved cause if a broken ankle is the worst that happened in that accident he was really lucky.

That being said, back to the chaos that was the race. I can't even mention everything that happened. The five(!) times the Savety Car was out, all the accidents, the penalty for Alonso and Rosberg, the Black Flag for Fisichella and Massa... the light was red and I have no idea why they didn't stop but the penalty seems a bit harsh. I'm just trying to remember if Juacho got black flagged after he did pretty much the same thing. I feel like such a bad fan now but I only can remember that I couldn't believe it until I saw the pictures.

Jenson: In that chaotic race he'd have had a fair chance getting some points but he wasn't even able to start the race. I'm really not expecting much any more but is it too much to aks for at least seeing his name on the lists somewhere around 10th place?
To be honest I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad that Barichello didn't get points. On the one hand I want Jenson to be the one to get the first points for Honda this year but on the other hand: How bad is this car that under those circumstances Barrichello still only finished 12th which in this case means last.
I admit that I don't like Hamilton partly because he gets all the attention Jenson used to get. And I know that that's not exactly fair. I can't blame him for being english or the fact that Honda just sucks at the moment. But I can't help it. Seeing Hamilton win and hearing the english anthemn just hurt. Probably more than it should. I want to see Jenson up there. He deserves it. He deserves to win and he deserves to be world champion. He has worked for it so hard for so long but seemingly he's always at the wrong place at the wrong time. It's just not fair.

I said to my father before the race that if Hamilton wins and England runs wild I'd grant Jenson asylum here. So, you can just take the next flight and come over, Jense.

Ant: Ant seems to be the best example that driving races is something completely different to being test driver. He was so amazing in the free practices last season but this season he didn't really show what he's capable of yet. I hope that'll change soon. If Sato can get points so can Ant.

Alonso: It's amazing how keeping my fingers crossed for him works. No reason to lay back now, mister. If you're not showing some results and keep Hamilton far behind you Spa-Island will be far out of reach for you again faster than you can say 'world champion'.
Cause that today... when did Alonso ever make mistakes like that? *shakes head*
