I may dislike Sera Gamble a whole lot, but reading this is certainly a reassurance with all the worry I've been feeling regarding his character this season. With all the fan speculations about him going evil, betraying the Winchesters, which I think is a load of bullshit because if there's anything we've learned about Castiel's development is that he isn't like the other angels and he's learned a lot from humanity since he appeared on the show. Obviously he's in a war right now (and has been for practically two years, longer if Heaven time is faster) so he's going to have to make difficult decisions and choices he clearly doesn't agree with, but has to choose the lesser of two evils to get the job done.
Anyway, I have many thoughts about this whole thing, but as a whole I'm glad that this was said about his character.
