The last bit of Odyssey 5 I have left. *sad face*
I already miss it. I just started watching a few weeks ago, but I really got attached to the show and the characters. Well, I can always rewatch the episodes we have.
Anyway, here are a few tidbits from the commentary I found interesting.
And last but not least, I have a picture for you to stare at, like I did all morning after I found it:

I already miss it. I just started watching a few weeks ago, but I really got attached to the show and the characters. Well, I can always rewatch the episodes we have.
Anyway, here are a few tidbits from the commentary I found interesting.
- Sebastian suggested using Coldplay in the pilot
- The choice for Neil was between Chris Gorham and Jensen Ackles. They even mention Supernatural in the commentary. Small world.
- "Ultimately the big secret was that - well, I'm not gonna give away the big secret..." THAT'S SO MEAN! I want to know!
- Not really part of the commentary but the scene, when Kurt checks Angela's pulse and looks so very concerned about her, is much more powerful when you actually know the characters and their history. I think I may have to rewatch and write reviews and character pieces about this show soon.
- It's amazing what simple means they used to fake the weightlessness.
- I find it hard to concentrate on the commentary in some of the scenes because I'm so focused on the characters.
- So the Seeker downloaded himself in their heads? But he's only complete with all the Odyssey 5 together? I'm having trouble imagining that. Season 2 where are you so I can see it? But! It also means that Angela'd have to be back in season 2. There, it's official: Kurt will find her.
- But we'd have lost Sarah? Tidbits of somewhat-official season 2 storyline, I'm going to find you, wherever you are.
- I'm so glad they didn't make Neil 15/10 years old. That never'd have worked.
- Oh, we learn something about the Sentients' agenda: Dominance, a Darwinian struggle inside cyperspace. And they are not created by humans. So basically they were gonna fight each other, and humanity (and the Earth) would just get caught in the crossfire?
- Damn, it really sounds like they thought this through and knew where they were heading. Now I'm even more bummed that the show got canceled so soon. :( But at least now I know a bit more. Unfortunately, only about the big storyline and not where it would have taken the characters,
- Couldn't they have put that deleted scene on the DVD? And some behind the scene material, please, because this sounds like so much fun: "When you guys [the main actors] would get together in a room, it turned into a party." [...] "You could not shut Sebastian up."
