I am very curious as well where Castiel's path will lead now that he's entirely angel again but with all the experience and the things he's learned about humanity during the time he spent with the Winchesters. These two years have probably changed and influenced him more than all those thousands of years before. I'm sure he won't ever be the same angel again that Dean met in that barn at the beginning of season 4.
I'd love to learn more about Castiel's past. And who knows, now that he's back in Heaven and has to deal with the other angels and with the changes he's trying to make, maybe we'll get at least a few hints on what his life has been like before.
