I'll probably spend my time answering the door and giving out sweets. And of course writing my private review of the past year like I do every Samhain.
Choir rehearsal. All evening. Isn't it just awesome how I have to cancel every single event I was looking forward to (e.g. Halloween parties) for choir rehearsals a.t.m., with a choir I don't even like? (Yes, I am shamelessly begging for compassion ;p)
It's quite straining, singing in this particular church, but at some point the music just started to flow and I grew able to derive some joy from it. Also, I think singing Brahms' "Deutsches Requiem" on Samhain night is pretty awesome :D I'm almost starting to look forward to the concert tomorrow.
Well, why do you rehearse with a choir you don't even like? I really hope you will enjoy the concert. That's the whole point of singing in a choir, isn't it?
So how did your night go?
It was rather quite. Just 4 or 5 groups of children. But all of them adorable. The evening felt really peaceful so I had enough time to reflect on my year and watch Supernatural later.
