Welcome to my City

I live in this small city with a population of about 20,000 that hardly anyone has ever heard of. But now we have this horticultural show, which will run for another two months. They worked on it for way more than a year, not only preparing the actual premises but beautifying the entire city centre. We have quite a lot of tourists now, and I'm sure they are not disappointed by what they find. The whole project all turned out great, and I hope that it will leave a lasting mark on my city long after the actual show has closed down.

Naturally I tried to capture a few impressions:

Your town is beautiful!! The tourists won't have any reason to complain.

It used to look rather unremarkable, to be honest. They put a lot of wotk into to make it look that pretty.

This looks a lot more interesting than the BuGa. ;)

Actually, I think it is the official smaller version of the LaGa, which in turn is kinda the smaller version of the BuGa.

I didn't even know we had LaGas. Do you charge an entry fee?

I think not all bundesländer do. Bavaria has the main one every two years, and the small one in the years inbetween.

Day tickets are €10 as far as I know, which is quite a lot if you ask me. I have a season ticket, though.

Okay, yes. BuGa is €20, but then, it's the BuGa. Not like it's worth it, but they have to pay off the uhm... "Seilbahn" they built. (I'm too lazy to look that up right now.)

I'm just starting to like Munich more and more. Free, huge garden, cheap zoo, every weekend the main museums are only €1. Must pay out to have so many rich people living in the city, I guess.

Thank you. That's one of my favourites as well.
