Crochet!Castiel's and Crochet!Balthazar's adventures in London (and Dublin)

As you may or may not know, crochet!Castiel and crochet!Balthazar came to London with me last weekend. I had planned on only taking crochet!Cas but crochet!Bal wouldn't let me and I wasn't too keen on being smitten.

This post contains Cas/Bal )

Crochet!Cas and crochet!Bal both came to Dublin with me as well, to keep me company, and because they've discovered they quite like being on holidays.

How season 6 should have gone )

That's all for now. I'm not sure I'll have time to take the angels for a little more sightseeing in Dublin. But if I do, I'll take photos.

Back from London

Hey everyone,

I'm back from my trip to London a.k.a. best birthday present ever. I still prefer the rural areas of England because I'm just not the type for huge crowds but as far as big cities go London is great. There's so much to see and to explore and there's just always too little time.

But we did manage to see quite a lot like parts of Notting Hill, The Tower, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Harrods, Madame Tussauds, Natural History Museum, the London Eye ...

[livejournal.com profile] elding and I even managed to meet up at the Tower. It was so great to finally meet you in person. *hugs*

And if you ever go to London you should totally take the Jack the Ripper Tour. It really does take you to places you wouldn't want to go alone at night. ;)

What I wouldn't do again is go at the Easter weekend. Some places are just crowded. We queued an esimated 3 (!) hours at Madame Tussauds.

All in all I had a great time. Pictures will follow as soon as I've sorted through all 300-something I took. :ugly:

I hope you all had a great weekend. *squishes flist*

Off to London

I'm leaving for London tomorrow morning to relax, visit some of the most famous tourists attractions, try to disclose the secret of Jack the Ripper and hopefully meet up with [livejournal.com profile] elding. I'll be back on Tuesday.

Have a great easter / spring equinox everyone!

Wheeeeee!

Southern England Last Day

Once more: Image heavy!

Day 6 - Mystical England )

Day 7 - Saying Goodbye )

And if you've read your way through all my Southern England entries you get your very own personal Dean. After all England has more than enough of them. ;)

Edit: FYI, the UK version of Supernatural Season 2 Part 2 has all the extras that are on the US version. Seems like they learnt their lesson from season 1. I don't know about the IMTOD commentary though. That one might be missing.

Short Note

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm back from Winchester and that I had a wonderful week. I'll tell you all about it in a few days time when I've sorted my photos and caught up with everything - well probably not my flist cause that's way too much to catch up with.

At the moment I'm reading some of the articles about the whole McLaren deal and I can't even tell you how much that makes me love Honda despite their not being able to build a decent car. At least they stick together and try to figure things out no matter how bad they look right now.
Plus the latest video Jenson has on his website:

"I'm sorry that we haven't had any pieces to camera lately. It's been pretty hectic. I know that's not really a very good excuse but.. it is my excuse.
As you know I've had some reasonably good races lately. One being Monza where we got a point. Single point. Seems like a win at the moment [...] Keep watching and, you know, we'll keep fighting on."

Awwwww! &hearts
Did he really apologise for not recording any videos for a few weeks? Like we had any right to get then and it wasn't just totally amazing and kind of him to do them at all? So no need to apologise, honey.
And of course I'll keep watching and I'll keep my fingers crossed. Now more than ever.
I can't believe they don't even support him in Frome any more. *is sad and a little angy* But I'll tell you more about that later.

England, here we come!

Everything's settled. [livejournal.com profile] verena158 and I are flying to Winchester in September.
And no, the decision on our destination had nothing to do with a certain tv show. We're not that geeky.

...

Okay, maybe it had to do with that a little bit. But I swear the fact that there's a St. John's hospital, a Dean's Garden and the B&B we'll stay at is called 67 St Cross Road is pure coincidence. *g*

I'm going to England again. Wheeeeee!
