You`r not weird!
I had the same thing with my huge love for Manchester United 10 years ago! I was so happy after they won the Champions League 1999 over Bayern Munich. But to be honest, I`m still happy if anyone wins against Bayern.

Is the "english patriotism" overarching all kinds of sports or just F1?
