THAT Spoiler

It's the middle of the night, I'm sick, so I'm pretty sure I should be asleep, but that's not going to happen right now.

In case you live under a rock and haven't heard yet: Misha will be back on Supernatural for 7x17 and maybe/at least two more episodes after that, depending on who you ask. Jim Michaels says 'maybe' so I'm going to be cautious and go with that for now. He is also my main source of the news, which makes it pretty damn official and believable.

Now, I'm not as ecstatic, jumping with joy as a lot of people I've seen in Twitter. Mainly, because it is very specifically stated that Misha is coming back. It is Castiel I want.

But:
1) Misha on my screen is always a good thing.

2) There is hope that, even if Misha will be back as someone "unexpected" (aka not Cas), he will be back as Cas eventually.

3) Most importantly, there is no way they can bring Misha back and not at least
address what happened to Castiel. Sam and Dean will certainly not meet someone who looks exactly like Castiel, and just go "Oh, hey, you kinda looked like that guy we used to know.". There has to be a proper reaction. I can't be sure that I will like that reaction, but it is at least a start, and I hope that it will either bring us back our angel, alive - that's the best case scenario - or that we will at least get closure.
And by the way, when I say "alive" I don't necessarily mean back on the show, I merely mean alive.

This news doesn't mean that everything is alright again all of a sudden. But at least there is new hope, at least now things might turn out somewhat okay. It won't undo what happened, but I am willing to forgive Show just like I am willing to forgive Sam and Dean if I just see them try, actually try, to give Castiel fair treatment after everything he did.
