Full Series
Caprica, Series 1 (8/10)
While it is sad that the show was canceled so soon, I believe that this is exactly what guaranteed such a packed and well-rounded storyline. Definitely worth watching. I do recommend watching at least some BSG first, though, because that will give the finale a lot more depth and meaning.
Highlander, Methos Episodes
In retrospect, some aspects of the show are pretty ridiculous, and I personally think Duncan can be really annoying. But Methos is just as awesome as he ever was. Still one of the greatest tv show characters ever. &hearts
Fringe, Series 1
The first season of Fringe felt a lot more structured and well thought through the second time around. Maybe Fringe just works better with all episodes watched back to back.
Warehouse 13, Series 1 (6.5/10)
I'm watching this show slightly out of order. It is one of my feel-good shows. Not always entirely logical or thought through, but fun and entertaining, without too much drama. And that is exactly what I love about it.
Fringe, Series 2
I still feel that the 2nd season of Fringe is a little unbalanced. I like the overall storyline, but there are too many stand-alone episodes that don't drive the mythology forward
Pilots
The Cape (6/10)
The show uses quite a few cliches but it is still entertaining. And it has Summer Glau, which is always a good thing.
Being Human US (4/10)
And another example of: Why make a US remake of a perfectly fine UK show? The US version of Being Human adds nothing new or valuable to the story - aside from maybeGeorge's Josh's sister - but lacks the charm of the original. Mark Pellegrino really is the only reason to watch this show.

Date: 2011-02-03 02:16 pm (UTC)Season 1 was incredibly fun to watch with all the knowledge from the second season. Suddenly you realise, that things that seemed like just being throwaway comments the first time around already hint at future storylines. And I'm quite certain that you'll even find some season 3 clues in there too, which is why I'll definitely take a look at the first and second season again after the third has aired.

Date: 2011-02-04 06:52 pm (UTC)I used to like this show a lot when I was a kid. It was one of the tv series I watched with my mum back then. I remember that I didn't like the episodes with Tess that much and Richie was somehow annoying too (he was okay as an Immortal though), so to me the show got a lot better when they both were gone *g*
I couldn't agree more with what you've said about the show, Duncan and Methos. *signs*

Speaking of Duncan being annoying: One of my favourite scenes is from "Forgive Us Our Trespasses" when Methos shoots Duncan in the back to kill him temporarily and says: "You're such a pain in the ass." LOL. So true.
