Colour and Light

I finally remembered to take my camera with me yesterday when I went for a walk. It was a very sunny early autumn day and my usual route took me about twice as long. Here are some of the reasons why.

I have a few more photos here in my scrapbook

Please don't repost, alter or otherwise use these photos without my permission. Thank you.

Beautiful colors! And i like how the sun blends in in the picture with the little house.

Thank you, sweety.

I'm really surprised how well that translated onto the picture.

These pictures evoke calmness and tranquillity. It's beautiful!
There is something fluffy on the 5th picture, what is it?

Thank you. I'm glad you like them.

It's a small blue flower you can find everywhere in the vineyards around here. Unfortunately I have no idea what it's called.

Sure I like! I like photoart and I have long been in it. Sometimes I like to photograph surrounding nature too.

And I like fluffy flowers ^_^

Fluffy flowers. I like that, it sounds cute. That's what I'm going to call them from now on.

I haven't been around much at LJ lately so that is why I haven't seen this entry until now. These pics are beautiful! I especially love the first one and the fourth as well. (But the whole album is beautiful, one of my favorites is the one with the apple)

Thank you. I had a lot of fun taking them too. The fourth one is one of my favourites as well.

Phear my mad botany skillz! That's Borretsch, or borago officinalis, "borage" in English (or so Leo tells me). It's edible. But please don't take my word for it and go pluck it and stick it in your salad, because I only have your pictures to judge from and it could still be some kind of poisonous weed I've never seen in any lecture. (I'm pretty sure it's borage, though.)

Despite the "officinalis" bit, I don't think I've ever heard of it having any pharmaceutic properties. Hm. I'm too lazy to look it up right now :p

But I think "fluffy flowers" sounds a lot prettier :)

Well look at me being so proud of actually learning stuff at university that I completely forgot to mention I also love you pretty pretty pictures. I do. Especially the first one an the last two, and also the close-up of the read leaf.

Yay for your mad botany skills. Interesting. I think I will still stick with fluffy flowers, though. It's way easier to remember. ;)

Thank you. :)
