But something like that should definitely be friends locked, and it would be best to avoid names. I wasn't thinking about friends locked entries when I answered your question. Those are, in my opinion, a different matter as they are only visible to a well defined circle of people. And I agree, you should always avoid names of third parties. When it comes to actors, I'm ususally not too interested in the actor behind the role either. It's a little different with the Supernatural fandom probably because I've met a few of the actors at cons. But - apart from things they are willing to share themselves - their private lives are off limits for me because I care about them.
