I have to admit I haven't seen any episodes with Nine for quite a while. To me Ten and Eleven seem to have the same kind of energy that might partly be responsible for or manifest itself in this... bouncy-ness. Travelling with them feels similar, travelling with Nine felt different. But it's hard to pin down how and why exactly. Ten had a lot of anger, too. But you had to look more closely to see it because he was better at suppressing it, most of the time. Which wasn't necessarily a good thing.
